Welcome to the Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB) home page. The GCMB is committed to ensuring quality health care for all Georgians by licensing qualified applicants as Physicians, Physician Assistants (including anesthesiologist assistants), Physician Residents in Training, Perfusionists, Respiratory Care Professionals, Acupuncturists, Orthotists, Prosthetists, and Auricular Detoxification Technicians. GCMB, otherwise known as the Georgia Medical Board, works to further ensure the delivery of quality health care services by disciplining individuals under its jurisdiction who do not meet professional standards as set forth in the Medical Practice Act.
