Welcome to the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners (CSBME) home page. The CSBME is committed to ensuring quality health care for all Georgians by licensing qualified applicants as Physicians, Physician's Assistants (including anesthesiologist's assistants), Physician Residents in Training, Perfusionists, Respiratory Care Professionals, Acupuncturists, Orthotists, Prosthetists, and Auricular (ear) Detoxification Specialists. CSBME, otherwise known as the Georgia Medical Board, works to further ensure the delivery of quality health care services by disciplining individuals under its jurisdiction who do not meet professional standards as set forth in the Medical Practice Act.
