VERIFICATION NOTICE: The Medical Board obtains verification of the following information as part of its licensure process:
- Identity and age
- Medical school education
- Postgraduate medical education
- Examination scores
PRIMARY-SOURCE DATA: The Board provides the following data on the search results page directly from its database, and you may consider it to be primary-source verification:
- License number
- License status
- Issue date
- Expiration date
- Public Board orders
PHYSICIAN PROFILES: The Board has not verified portions of the data contained in the physician profile, much of which is directly provided by the physician. As mandated by the Patient Right to Know Act of 2001, physicians licensed in Georgia are required to have a published physician profile. The physician profile contains information intended for Georgia health care consumers, and to that end, we make the profiles of actively-licensed physicians available to you on our search page. To view the profile of a physician you have found on our search page, click the link in the "Physician Profile" column under his or her name and address.
If you are a physician and wish to update your Physician Profile, click here. You will need you user ID and PIN numbers to access this site.
